Innovation through Modular: Beacon Landing
Beacon Landing is the first of five supportive housing developments produced as a result of a $40 million City of Los Angeles HHH Innovation Challenge Award bestowed to Abode Communities, Mercy Housing California, and LA Family Housing to streamline the site selection, design, and financing of supportive housing utilizing prefabricated modular construction. Designed and constructed in partnership with Abode Communities | Architecture Studio, modular fabricator Factory_OS, and Bernards Builders.

NorCal Here We Come: 231 Grant Begins Construction
Developed in partnership with with Mercy Housing California, 231 Grant is Abode Communities’ first development in Northern California and will bring 110 affordable/workforce homes to teachers and their families in Palo Alto. Learn more about our partners and progress at 231grant.org.
Project Homekey in Riverside County: Both Firsts
Vista Dorada epitomizes how highly collaborative partnerships leverage resources to bring critical housing and social service investment for unhoused family members and neighbors Riverside County. The first Project Homekey site in the City of Corona, Vista Dorada transforms a former Ayers Hotel into 52 homes complemented with comprehensive supportive services that aim to help residents heal, recover, and grow their independence. Supportive services are offered by Riverside University Health Systems – Behavioral Health with additional delivered in partnership with the City of Corona.
