Catherine Hicks is an American television, film, and stage actress best known for her role as Annie Camden on the long-running television series 7th Heaven. Other notable roles include her Emmy Award-nominated performance as Marilyn Monroe in Marilyn: The Untold Story and Dr. Gillian Taylor in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
Hicks is a staunch advocate for affordable housing and other key social justice issues that affect Angelenos. She is a member of the League of Women Voters, serving on its Homeless Action Committee; a voter registration canvasser and advocate for Swing Left; an active volunteer for Adam Schiff, U.S. Representative of California’s 28th Congressional District; and an ambassador of Abode Communities.
