One of the first three households to move-in, resident Taniecia shared, “I moved back to LA to be with family because I became really sick. I bounced around to different places, but no one could really take me and my daughter in, so it just became easier to sleep in my car. We were homeless for two years and I honestly didn’t think that we would ever find a place.

Knowing that I was one of the first people to move-in was dope! I was ecstatic, [having my own home] was like nothing I had ever imagined. When I surprised my daughter, she started crying. I’m looking forward to making my home here.”

Westmont Vista is in close proximity to multiple transit lines, grocery stores, and a childcare center, among a variety of other community-serving amenities. St. Joseph Center will provide on-site supportive services to the resident population.
