Edward Lam Earns Architectural License

We are pleased to announce that Edward Lam, Project Manager with Abode Communities | Architecture, has passed the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) earning his California Architecture License. Lam, who has been with the architectural design team for nearly a decade, has completed the rigorous process, which included passing six examinations and demonstrating core competencies, to master his knowledge of building design as it pertains to the health, safety and welfare of California residents. By passing this national examination and a Supplemental Examination required by the State of California, which includes completion of a structured intern development program requiring 5,600 hours (he has completed more than 24,000 hours), Lam has demonstrated extreme competence in all areas of building design.

“This is a major achievement,” said Gio Aliano, SVP, Principal Architect with Abode Communities | Architecture. “Lam is the fourth licensed architect in the studio and joins only 22,000 other licensed architects in the State. We are excited leverage his new qualifications to help expand the studio’s capacity to provide superior client service.
