Rolland Curtis Gardens

Thoughtfully re-designed through an extensive community participatory planning process, Rolland Curtis Gardens transformed 48 existing units into 140 affordable family homes, a 6,500 square foot Federally Qualified Health Center operated by St. John’s Well Child and Family Center, and 1,500 square feet of community-serving retail. Developed in three phases and operated via a 99-year ground lease offered to Abode Communities by landowner T.R.U.S.T. South LA, the development capitalizes upon its transit-rich location to serve 450 residents and 10,000 health clinic patients in this culturally rich, historic South LA neighborhood.
